Nasus Diaboli mean The Devil’s Nose.
Its a reference to an medieval story about St Dunstan (patron saint of smiths) who realising he was being deceived by the Devil in disguise, grabbed him by the Nose with a hot pair of tongs from the fire and threw him out of his smithy.
Blacksmiths were believed to have semi mystical/occult abilities due to their ability to modify the properties of steel and iron through the use of fire.

I can work with most blade steels subject to availability.
I forge all the damascus and san mai knives in house and love the amazing performance and aesthetics that can be produced via this process. In almost all cases these knives are made with high performance carbon steel, that while requiring a little more care (need to be kept dry between uses) will develop unique patina with use
I also work with cutting edge stainless super steels which achieve amazing performance and ease of care but are more minimalistic in their aesthetic.
What suits you and your cooking style can be discussed while ordering a custom Nasus Diaboli knife.
